The origin of Bodegas Macià Batle dates back to 1856 when Macià Batle started making wine from his own vineyards in Biniali. In 1997, his descendants built the new winery in Santa María del Camí, equipped with the best resources to produce quality wines. The winery was acquired by Mallorcan businessman Sebastià Rubí in 2003 and expanded in 2005 to become a benchmark for quality wine in Mallorca.
