The Miralles family is a family as families are in Mallorca. A united family, in which joys and sorrows are shared, in which we have common goals and dreams and to which, for better or for worse, we will always be united.
Joan Miralles, the patriarch of the family, is a person who 20 years ago had a dream. After years of dedication to tourism, he wanted to return to his roots and bring to the community a natural, sustainable and healthy product to create a product that would be in keeping with the old character of the island; calm, calm, pragmatic, valuable.
His name of Treurer derives from the Mallorcan word ‘Tresorer’, “he who looks after the treasury”, usually the tax collector of the town hall.
The origin of the estate is ancestral. The first written reference dates back to 1603, when it mentions its owner and the value of the time. In the past, it was already mentioned as a prosperous farm.
At some point in its history it was part of another larger possession, it is at this time when the current houses were built as housing for the ‘garriguer’ or guardian of the estate.
After going through the usual vicissitudes between 1603 and 1745, it is in this year when it takes its current form, occupying the 33 quartares that currently make it up.
