Vinyes Mortitx fue fundada en 2001 por un grupo de entusiastas del vino que compraron parte de la finca Mortitx con el objetivo principal de producir vinos de calidad que muestren las características únicas de la tierra. Ubicada en la Sierra de Tramuntana de Mallorca, la bodega cuenta con unas 16 hectáreas de viñedos y produce alrededor de 100.000 botellas anuales de diversos tipos de vino, incluido un vino dulce hecho a partir de uvas congeladas
