History

Mallorca, with its Mediterranean climate and fertile soils, is a paradise for a wide variety of fruits that are an integral part of the island’s diet and culture. Among the typical Mediterranean fruits grown in Mallorca, we find:

The apricot tree flowers in spring and produces sweet and aromatic fruits in early summer. Majorcan apricots are consumed fresh, dried and used in the preparation of liqueurs and cakes.
